The Corporate Registers Forum has been an annual event since its inception in 2003, with the exceptions of 2004 and 2020. Hosted by various countries under the CRF banner, each conference has featured unique themes, agendas, and outcomes.

The most recent conferences, held in Malta in 2023 and the Maldives in 2022, showcased notable speakers and insightful discussions. Attendees were treated to a diverse range of presentations and workshops tailored to their interests and aligned with the respective themes of the events.

In addition to the rich content, the conferences provided valuable networking opportunities, allowing attendees to connect with peers, speakers, and sponsors.

The theme of CRF 2023 Malta was "Together: Building Bridges, Sharing Experiences". The event boasted over 40 speakers and delved into various topics pivotal for registries, including international collaborations, business partnerships, future challenges, Financial Action Task Force (FATF) experiences, beneficial owner registers, tackling money laundering and other illicit activities, and enhancing digitalisation and due diligence practices. Furthermore, the event provided valuable networking opportunities for registries and practitioners.

CRF 2022 Maldives was themed “Transforming Business Registries for the Post Pandemic Era”. More than 30 industry experts and practitioners addressed various topics, encompassing technology, legal, economic and policy perspectives around the conference theme. Additionally, a new segment named "Call for Papers" was introduced, inviting practitioners to submit papers and abstracts for potential presentation at the event. Just like in all CRF conferences, networking opportunities were facilitated for registries and practitioners.
